The Hebrew letters spelling Ahava (In English Love) are the focus of some of Kapiano’s most acclaimed pop artworks. Kapiano uses aluminum sheets in his dynamic two-faced series to compose 2 bold visuals, which he skillfully merges to captivate the audience’s eye. The composition changes depending on where the viewer stands. Looking at it straight on, the composite pieces harmonize, however, when viewed from either side, it changes completely producing a unique optical illusion.
