GADI FRAIMAN
About the Artist:
Gadi Fraiman was born in Poland in 1958 to holocaust survivors. Immigrating to Israel with his family at the age of 8 years old, he turned to art to express his feelings. From a young age, turning words into lines and representing emotions in color.
He began sculpting in 1982, serving him as a creative outlet alongside his main occupation as a farmer cultivating vineyards for winemaking. Over the years, developing his knowledge, skills and growing public interest in his work, Gadi turned his passion for sculpting into his full-time profession at the age of 40.
Gadis pristine work is as ever-changing as his imagination explores. He brings his fluid sculptures to life in stone and bronze. Being drawn deeply to the rigid material from his youth, he collected stones as a child, connecting to it further during his experience working in the field. In recent years he has begun to incorporate color into his sculptures. His magnificent body of work can be seen in exhibitions, galleries and public spaces around the world. Our gallery represents many of Gadi’s finest sculptures. Contact us to learn more.
