The Hebrew letters spelling Ahava (In English Love) are the focus of some of Kapiano’s most acclaimed pop artworks. In this piece, the letters are cut from plexiglass sheets and are hand and spray painted separately in a graffiti pop art style of English and Hebrew slogans. These letters are then mounted on top of canvas to sit slightly elevated from the surface, so they appear floating on top of the background.
