About the Artwork:

‘Bottle of Love’ is an artwork depicting an elegantly shaped perfume bottle named Love. It is composed of many layered laser-cut metal butterflies, mounted on a lacquered wood board.  Joel finds the ironic process of forming steel, a heavy and cold material, into such delicate forms of life such as the romantic butterflies in ‘Bottle of Love’  to be an essential dimension to his work.
