About the Artwork:
‘Game of Masks’ depicts two colorful figures sitting across from each other touching, playing, whilst holding up ornate golden masks. The masks symbolize the two withholding some truths from one another, yet at the same time, they are curious and close. Gadi reflects the idea that life is like a game, and through play, the line between closeness and pretense is blurred. The two figures are intimately close, reflected by their corresponding radiant colors, separated only by a thin veil, a mask of performance.
